Vote for my T-shirt!!!
Hey everyone, all loyal friends and family. I submitted a T-shirt design to threadless.com and my design is in the running. If enough people like it and vote for it, I will win some prizes including lots of money (in my opinion). Take a look and vote for it if you like it and encourage your friends to as well.
Thanks much. Love from me.

Brooklyn, NY
Here lies my body and Arod's each night as we lay ourselves down to sleep on our separate blankets. Our apartment floods with light each morning through our three large windows. The past few days we have lost electricity several times. Our Super finally figured out the problem. Turns out one of the light switches had some wires touching the lightswitch box. That explains the small shock I recieved when I turned the lights on the other night.
Currently I stilll search for a job and wonder if I will always be in the bottom five percent of moneymakers nationwide. The funny thing is, I was more prosperous as a Missionary apprentice. I guess I do have an ability to live frugally.
My friend Corban Brauer visiteth me today. He sitteth to my left, while on my right resideth young madamoisselle Macha. We share a cream puffy moment in this small coffee shop on 23rd st and 8th Ave.
This painting is the first of my endeavors in these living quarters. I find that it is helpful to try to make transitional paintings. It helps you settle yourself, and becomes a timemarker of experiences in your life. Its like a visual memory bookmark even if it isn't a very exciting work.

From the lowlands of Queens to 4 flights of Brooklyn stairs
Well, I ate good tonight. Thanks to some generous post-MAP peeps. They took me out to Thai food after some filling spiritual food from Timothy J. Keller. I ate Beef Panang Curry which was quite tasty and a bit spicy.
Arod and I and guest Heather Wilson are moving to Brooklyn on Tuesday. We found a sweet well-lit studio space 4 stories up in a no-elevator building unfurnished besides stove and fridge, but soon to be ours. We are leaving our tiny homey, queens apt which was slightly a ripoff and a bit crowded. Its exciting.
In other news we are broke. We just gave our last dollars to our new Landlord who happens to be an Irish girl working for a hasidic Jew. She put in a good word for us.
I have a meeting at 11 tomorrow with my boss. I wonder if he will fire me. We've had some poor communication earlier this week. Then Wednesday night I tried out for the Manhattan Celtics, a Cosmopolitan league soccer team (nothing fancy, really). The next day my big toes were black and blue and swollen and I had to call in work to say I could barely walk... cuz I could barely walk. So I didnt' go walk dogs all morning or coach a soccer class that afternoon. Friday it rained so hard and my boss was kind of busy so he said I should take the day off. I'm not sure what will happen tomorrow but I wonder.
I think I made that soccer team but await an email. Not sure if i have to pay to play.
That's our story for now. PEACE and LOVE
Luke
